The Riva del Garda Museum is preparing to welcome a new, fascinating exhibition dedicated to the Renaissance and its influence on the area bathed by the waters of Lake Garda.
The exhibition, entitled "Renaissance on Garda", will open on 12 July and will take visitors on a journey through the art and history of this flourishing period.
The exhibition, curated by art historians Luca Gabrielli, Giuseppe Sava, Luca Siracusano and Marco Tanzi, intends to enhance the rich historical-artistic heritage of Alto Garda, often kept in local churches and museums, and to show how this territory has experienced a period of great cultural ferment during the Renaissance. It will bring together works of art from museums and churches throughout Trentino, Veneto and Lombardy, offering a unique opportunity to admire great masterpieces.
The exhibition invites you on a fascinating journey to discover the masterpieces that have made this region a creative hub of unparalleled beauty. From sculpture to painting, from goldsmithing to textile art, each work on display tells a story, reveals a technique, testifies to the ingenuity and mastery of these artists.
But the exhibition does not limit itself to presenting works of art of exceptional value. It is also an opportunity to delve into the history and culture of the Garda area, to grasp the nuances of an era full of turmoil and transformations. The exhibition will also be enriched by a program of collateral events, including guided tours and cultural experiences that will touch on multiple arts - from visual to performative - and which will delve deeper into the theme by involving a heterogeneous audience.

At the end of the presentation there will be a convivial moment.
